What does it cost?

As a rule our events are free. If that is ever not the case, we will say so clearly.

Do I have to book in advance?

As a rule no booking is needed. If that is ever not the case, we will say so clearly.

Where does the event take place?

As a rule it takes place in the library's own rooms. Space here is limited, though, so the odd event may be held elsewhere. If so, we will say so clearly.

Events are generally not held at the same time as the library's opening hours. On the one hand our collection should be available to visitors as usual and undisturbed; on the other, those attending an event should be able to enjoy it without interruption.

Is everyone welcome to take part?

Everyone is welcome in principle — not just our own readers, but anyone from the pastoral care unit, from Haigerloch as a whole and beyond.

Why aren't there many more events?

Partly because we go for quality rather than quantity: we want our visitors to have a pleasant stay and an unforgettable experience. Partly, too, we simply do not have the capacity, since every one of us works for the library entirely as a volunteer in our own free time. On top of that, our funds are limited.
