Financial means are needed to fulfil the association's purpose. We welcome donations of every kind for the library, whether general or for a particular project. Every donation helps, however small — particularly since the devastating fire of January 2018 and the complete destruction of the library. Insurance covered only about two thirds of the loss.

For donations over €300* you always need a donation receipt if you wish to claim the amount against tax.

Donations by bank transfer

Please give your full address on the transfer. In doing so you consent to our processing your personal data (surname, first name, form of address, title and company name where applicable; address — street, number, town, postcode, country) in order to issue a donation receipt, which will then be sent to you automatically.

Note on how we handle donors' data

To issue a donation receipt we need your full address, and we must store and process your contact details electronically. Only authorised people have access to this data, as a rule only the treasurer. We keep it for 10 years, because the law requires us to.

You are of course entitled to object to your data being stored. In that case, however, we regrettably cannot issue a donation receipt.
